Don't Fall Asleep Now!

The normal powers that be in government are depending on us right now but it's not for not what we think.  Simply put, they want us to fall asleep until the next election cycle. However, isn't that what got us here to begin with?  A huge distration now is who to vote for next for the next election.  I see them on TV giving us "their" choices of who we get to vote for.  So, we have the media and both parties telling us who we get to vote for next and to start thinking about it.  It's a brilliant move because most people fall for it and most don't even want to think about it right now.  As soon as the General Election was over we got to hear the media tell us all our choices for President in the Republican Primary. Wait a minute, that's two years from now and we are already there?  Who whats us to think about that already. Well, both parties do because they sure don't want us watching what they are doing right now!

Well, while we are all beating each other up, digging up former Candidates and Office Holders, the powers that be are making NEW Laws!  They sure aren't getting rid of any of the old laws!  Are they talking about that?  Oh, you can maybe find some of it on TV, but in most cases they sneak up on us because we aren't paying attention.  I do believe they call that a distraction.  If you notice, some really bizarre things happen and the media jumps all over it.  "Oh my God, did you see who in Hollywood broke up."  Or, who in Hollywood was sent to rehab for the umpteenth time.  For me, the only reason I know the name Lindsey Lohan is because the media brings it up day in and day out, like I really care?  If you do, then you need a hobby!  That would be if your present hobby isn't following the useless lives of meaningless people in the limelight.

Now don't ask most a political question, because most have no idea who they are, or what their voting record is, except for what that politician wants you to know.  I find it fascinating how many Conservative people are running for office when many of their voting records do not reflect what they are proclaiming.  Those people are well aware that the voters are simply uninformed and too lazy to check it out themselves.  Whats worse is when you point out to a voter of the actual record of a Candidate, and that same voter still believes what the Candidate said on TV over what your research shows.  Of course most won't take the time to look it up and that's the shame of it all.

So, it's time to start paying attention to what is really going on.  If you can spend as much time learning how many yards Steven Jackson has, or what the completion percentage of Drew Brees is, or one of my favorites, how Princess Diana died and how the new investigation is going, and so on, then you can at least take some time to find out what your Representative is doing when he is taking money from your wallet every single week!  In other words, let's pay attention to these people instead of letting them run hog wild and enjoying our employment of them without watching them.  Always remember, it's YOUR money!

We are in the process of some major news that will truly bring some help to those of you that don't know where to go for honest assessment of our Politicians.  On a personal note, I want our Representatives to answer questions and not just tell us what they want us to know!  Too many politicians intimidate us into thinking that they don't have to answer our questions, and that we are supposed to wait for them to tell us what wonderful things they have done for us, at our expense, which they do seem to leave out!  So be a good citizen, pay attention, and learn what your Representatives are doing.  That's the only way we will get control back of OUR government.  After all, this is OUR country, and if you have any care at all as a citizen, parent, or as a good moral person, then it is YOUR responsibility to do your job too!  That is of course unless you like the job they are currently doing.  How much in debt is our country in now?  Think about it!
